98 Ferrari F355 Spider - Which LSP would you use?

Hi Vega, I am about to start on my F355. How did you polish the small intakes on the side skirts of the car? I have a Rupes 15 which is not going to work (unless I use the side and edge areas of the pad I suppose) but I don't even think getting a smaller Griot's or Rupes is going to allow me to get into that space. Did you do it by hand? My inquiring mind wants to know...

You have an F355 too??

I haven't touched the Ferrari yet. I'm starting on it tonight and have all day tomorrow. I've got a LHR75E and a PE8 (with 1" and 2" pads) in my arsenal, but if it's too tight for a tool I'll just do it by hand.

Yea but it's a metallic blue so we'll see how good I can get that to look (metallics seem to be tough).

Would be great to hear what you did for the small vents. I am hesitant to buy another tool if that area has to be done by hand anyway.

A PC with a 4" pad works for these areas. If you open the door and go from that end you can access the few inches you can't reach from the other side. Just be careful not to rub as you transition from the vertical to the horizontal panels. It barely fits so pay attention to what you are doing.

Daily driver, Optimum Gloss-Coat or Opti-Seal. Garage queen, Mitchell & King Rannoch.

That's the best for the given conditions that I have on hand.
