I detailed this car 4-5 months ago with a PC.. It's my moms '98 Dodge Stratus with 66k. She bought it with 12k on it. I haven't had time to attend to it for awhile. So since I had time, I cleaned it up for her. For being only driven ~50k in 9 years. It was bad before.:werd:

Washed, Cleaned, got it all purrtied up and all that good stuff

Applied a coat of RMG by hand via foam applicator.

Applied a coat of #845 by hand via foam applicator. Called it a day.

Nothing special. Sorry it's not a Ferrari or something worth a lot of $. Just had time to take pictures. Minus well post them than have them sit here.:nana:

Not bad for a car that age in Ohio, when in the winter they use salt on the roads, great job on it Andrew!:2thumbs: ...........:usa

Thats a sharp lookin purple. How long of protection would you say you get out of just one coat of 845?

Honestly, I don't let a product fully disappear before reapplying. But like Angelo said, with Ohio's road salt; around 4 months, its still looking good and beading damn well. :woot: Maybe this is a good time to just let it fully go away to see how long it actually does last.:p

I like seeing normal cars being detailed here, especially cars that were extremely neglected. Sometimes they're more enjoyable than expensive garage queens.

I got 3-4 cars to do this weekend. I will wash it and get full sun pics to show how freaky good 845 looks for being so cheap and lasting so long.

I don't see how my mom's car got so bad for only being driven 50k miles in 9 years.

The garage queens I guess are nice once in awhile, but like you said; I really like to see really neglected once brought back to life.:bigups
