Car had never been detailed before and paint was full of chips and oxidized. Rt forward quarter panel had a drop of what looked like epoxy and I tried to scrape it off with a plastic scraper, but it would not come off.

Process:

Wash and Clay

Meguiars Medium Cut Cleaner w/PC Meg Cutting Pad

IP w/PC Meg Polishing pad

FPII w/PC Meg Finishing pad

AIO by hand

#16 by hand

Wheels clay and chrome polish

Wheelwells Armor All (hard to tell)

Trim and Tires 303 Aerospace

Windows IG

Interior vacuumed/ 303 Aerospace

Lexol Leather cleaner

good job!!

looking at the 'before's'..its surprising how good of shape that car was in. Esp. for being a 'never before detailed' 1997. I know it looks dirty, but generally good looking paint.

Nice work!!! :xyxthumbs It's even nicer now that the pollen has been slowly ebbing. :)

How bad was the hazing after the Medium Cut / 7006 pad combo?

The hazing was enough to scare:shocked , but I needed something aggressive to get the swirls, waterspots, light scratches...I tried to follow with #83, then #80 but when compared to Menzerna, the choice was simple. The IP polished the hazing right out.

I had it outside this morning for about an hour and the pollen already made the black finish look horrible.
