97 cobra,unwaxxed future??

Hello,spent 12 hours yesterday washing/claying/scratchX'ing/polishing(step2 Deep Crystal)an finally a coat of NXT. All by hand:sosad . Anyway i got in a pickle the wifeys car is a convertable an it MUST inhabit thy garage!:angry but i still lover her:bow . So i just got done an put hers in the garage an put mine bout out where it belongs:angry . It rained as it should after a good cleaning. I read that Nxt needs to sit an cure for at least 12 hours an avoid moisture for the polymers to set properly,i wanted to apply a second coat today. So i decided ill get up an rewash an QD the car an apply a base coat again,wait 12 hours an apply a second. I got up(partly cloudy) an washed an QD it..went to get the NXT,and what did i see?? RAIN!!!!!:angry ...threw everything down an came here as we speak. What do i do from here?? thx
 
After it stops raining, QD/dry as long as no major dust was attracted by the water, then apply NXT. After 2 layers, it becomes a waste of product. Good luck.
 
The rain isn't ideal for a sealant's curing process, but I'm sure you are fine. Wash it again when you get a chance and see how it looks. If the QD didn't hurt the NXT then neither will the rain.

No, I think he meant that if QDing it didn't have any adverse effect, then the rain shouldn't either. QD usually doesn't cause problems or remove "stuff"....

Is her car the cobra? If not, unless its some expensive car, it should be sitting outside:)!!!!!!!!!!

Awww.. C'mon man. :lol I know you are just joking, but if my wife asked me to park under a tree dripping with sap right next to a guy spray painting something upwind of me while it is pouring acid rain outside so that she could park in the garage, then I'd let her have it in a heartbeat. The easy solution to this problem is to clean out the other half of the garage so that you can both park in it. ;)
