This car just came in last week in need of a good detail. It has almost 59K miles on it and is actually in pretty good shape for the miles. As you can see from the before pics, the paint needed some serious attention. This car was definitely taken care of, but I think the previous owner just washed it because there was no traces of leftover wax in any of the nooks & crannies. The paint was spider webbed and lacked any gloss/ shine. There were a few scratches on the lower rockers and some stone chips on the hood.
Here is my process:
Exterior wash
Cleaned wheels, tires, wheel wells & engine compartment
Complete interior detail
Spot-buffed scratches on lower panels w/ Optimum Compound using foam cutting pad
Buffed complete exterior with Intensive Polish
Buffed complete exterior with Optimum Polish
Hand application of Werkstatt's Prime
Hand application of Natty's Blue
Super Blue Dressing on tires & wheel wells
Polished wheels w/ Wicked Metal Polish & sealed w/ Werkstatt's Prime
Touched up stone chips w/ factory touch-up paint
