so you went from 2000,4 6 8 then 12,000 grit you did that in a back forth motion? ALso where did you get the papers from thanks.
 
I'm pretty sure that is the code for MicroPolish, unless i'm wrong. Try a search on this board for it. Ceramiclear are supposed to be super hard, why would it only be a 1.5 on the cut scale?
 
Well i called the owner of Menzerna USA Jeff Silver & thats what he told me its more of a high gloss polish not too sure of the name though
 
Could very well be possible. FP and "FPII" are actually different products, and FPII is not the next version of FP. Possibly this is what he mentioned. :nixweiss but hey if there is a new Menzerna polish i'd be first on line.

I've bought from him before, but that pic is from the Menzerna germany site. His shop is a town over.
 
The polishes for that type of finish is as follows:



PO85RD and PO106.



PO85RD has less cutting but has high gloss



PO106 cuts more (more abrasives) and also has high gloss.



Both have a higher gloss level than FP or "FPII" (Micro-Polish) which stop at 4 in gloss, the two Ceramiclear polishes go to 5, which is the highest level for cut/gloss per Menzerna grading system. Similar to Meguiars, but they rate cut AND gloss on the same scale.



Those are the two.



However, they are used on factory fresh OEM paint. In fact, they use it as the hardend clearcoat is curing. Not ment as a corrective polish for worn finishes according to Menzerna. But then again, it still works very well with a rotary and polish pad.



The Micro Polish is FP with a bit more wetting agents to keep it from drying out. It also cuts a bit more. I don't have my chart in front of me as to cut levels, but I did post them prior.



AH, HERE IT IS.....:



FYI, the PO85RD is close to FP but gives higher gloss. On a scale 1 to 5, it's a 1.5 in cut level and 5.0 in gloss.



FP is cut level 1.5 and 4.0 gloss.



The PO106 is cut level of 2.5 and gloss of 5.0.



Powergloss is 5.0 in cut and 1.5 gloss and removes 1,000 grit sanding marks.



The PO106 will remove 2,500 grit marks and PO5RD wll remove 3.000 grit marks
