8HR PC Detailing Part 2

My first PC experience was done 2 weeks ago on my own car. I'm still learning and want to get a hang of it, so I decided to attack my brother's black 93 RX7. Again, took me 8 hours total... Fortunatelly this car is much much smaller than mine. CMA/YELLOW PAD & 3M SMR, 3 coats ZFX etc... Next I gotta learn how to work faster w/PC.

Normally only my own car receive Z treatment and I use Klasse or Souveran for all my family's car, but this time I decided to use Zaino. I understand Souveran may offer deeper and wetter shine for black and that's what I should use, and as matter of fact I've done it on my bro's SUV (he has 3 cars) in the past and loved how it looked, but I dunno, for some reason I like using Z on black. To each his own right? LOL.

This is the first time I use Zaino on another car other than my black benz and seems Z reacts differently to different paint. It was much much easier to buff off with no smear at all. I used same pad & technique as I do with my car.

The Paint is in good condition just with a lot of swirls and paint look kind of hazy. The whole car pretty much looks like this. Hood been the worst. Here's BEFORE SHOT:

8 HOURS LATER. Most swirls are gone or dimished, but the light spiderwebbing are still visible and by no means gone. The car was parked in the garage for 1 day so there are some white dusts visible in the pic. My bro is so happy with the result. That makes my day. heh.

That's all the pics. There are 2 other cars in my family that I know need 8 hours of work each. Damn, I gotta take a break for couple of months before I attack them. As Geekysteve once said "so many swirls, so little time". LOL. That's so true.

Looks Great! I love Zaino on balck. I also have some smearing issues on my Black mbz. But once all buffed out, yummmmm oh so good!

Good job William420,

I give you A+ for committment. 8 hours is a heck of a long time holding any PC. Great job! The black paint looks so slick.
