I thought that was clearcoat failure but I guess it was a single stage paint job. Nice to see you were able to get to the good paint underneath. The car turned out absolutely amazing!

Nah, believe it or not, it really *was* a b/c paint! I'd wondered about that too but bufferbarry confirmed that it was b/c and in some of the work-in-progress shots he sent me I could see his buffer's pad- no pigment transfer.



Makes it even more incredible, huh?!?

Scott thanks man yeah this was a ruff one for sure, but it was bc/cc! I couldn't beleive it myself!

Barry sorry I did not comment sooner, awesome job but the real miracle is the total time 27 hours is 20 hours shorter than it would have took me to do that car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but now you will be a victim of your skills as that guy will tell everyone with a hammered car "no problem Barry can fix it" but guys who roll that kind of car almost NEVER pay the freight to fix it right or they would not have a car in that condition in the first place(lol).
 
<sigh> My work isn't even worthy enough to be posted in the same forum as this type of stuff Barry. :( I just finished a 1987 300 SDL and now I want to delete my post. lol



I bet this post even made Jesus himself say "DAMN!" ;) I'll finish posting my sun shot of the MB 300 SDL I just did, just don't expect me to be in the same realm of skill as this type of work. /cheer
