I through on a coat of Collinite 845 since i really needed something on my new truck badly for winter. I then a week or so later put on coat number 2 and it really stepped up the looks of it. (yes all subject to everyones eye's) it beads and sheds water like a ducks back .



I have maintained between first and second coat with FK 425 (pink colored detailer) best stuff for me IMO. Have been through numerous car washes , ONLY BECAUSE WE DON'T HAVE A CHOICE HERE IN WINTER. I have a heated garage/shop , but no running soft water yet or floor draining . so ....... do what I gotta do.



I did this on a few cars for some other people with pleasing results for the customer. Great shine , exceptional durability .



Ive been also experimenting with different spray bottles for a spray wax and that has been working well also.



Hard to find a decent spray wax IMO. Also my personal vehicle has a lot of grained trim and 845 has not had a single issue with it.



Colors I have done so far are metallic color from dark brown , dark gray , silver , dark metallic blues and greens .



I did applications by hand since its just so easy .



Should I top it with anything ?? just want to get your thoughts .
 
I'd be tempted to leave it alone and test its durability, as long as your happy with it's looks.



If you have #915 then I might add a layer of that on darker colours to improve depth, etc.
 
Fallguy- I used to top 845 with 476S and then top *that* with another coat of 845...my "Collinite sandwich". The final coat of 845 was really just a maintenance coat, and I'd then add another application of 845 whenever I thought it necessary.



So *really*, I'd say to just stick with the 845 by itself unless you want to tweak the look as per Alfisti's suggestion.
