#81 applied, need a sealant (Wolfgang or Reflection)

Which one should I use? I really want to use Mothers Reflection and top it with S100 for a black Accord. However I know the Reflection has some cleaning agent in it so will it remove the #81?



I haven't tried the Wolfgang (just got it) but I know that you need multiple layers for it to work well and I am not sure if it will bonds with #81.



What do you think?
 
You're talking about Meguiar's Hand Polish, right? That's a pretty oily glaze. You'll need something that will cut that to bond properly, IMO. I'm not really familiar with the Reflections, although I have had good success with NXT over #81. I'm pretty sure, as you noted, that the Wolfgang will not bond to it.
 
Reflections bond well over their Sealer & Glaze which is loaded with oils as well. The cleaners in it are very mild (milder than NXT) so I'd try that over the glaze.



Or you could simply apply S100 over the glaze and you should have no probs.



As a rule its best to apply sealants to bare paint - they need to chemically bond to the surface to work at their optimum.
 
Too late, heh I applied #81 --> Reflection --> S100



Why does everyone tells me to put S100 over glaze? Does it seal anything?
