Here's a job that I really hope turns into something huge. I did this 2002 Land Rover Discovery Series 2 - SE7 for a very nice family in which my mom does gardening designing and maintenance for (how I got the job). They live in a very affluent area and like I said, hopefully this job will grow into more.
When I got there, the paint was dulled, scuffed in areas, swirled moderately, and it definately was in some fender benders. The interior was covered with Golden Labrador hair and smelled like curdled milk from an AC problem (had fixed before I got there). I had my work cut out for me!
I hit the carpets with some spritz' of Simple Green to pretreat, then my OxyClean mixture. All dash, trim, and seats recieved Water:Woolite (6:1). All dash and trim pieces recieved 303 Aerospace and seats receieved Lexol Leather Conditioner. -Sorry no pics-
Onto the exterior. After testing a couple areas after washing/claying, I stuck to my polishing process. My final processes were:
-Mother's Gold Wash
-Wolfgang Clay with QEW Lube
-WW Dry
-#80 Speed Glaze via Rotary and Meguiar's Polishing Pad @ 1500rpm
-NXT by hand
-NXT on wheels
-AA on Wheel Wells, tires, and running boards
-303 AeroSpace on the rest of the exterior plastic
I battled with overcast all day, so please excuse the pics if they are a little off in lighting.
