Yeah, if I won, I wouldn`t be announcing it on TV. I`d set up about as many shell corps as I could to maintain my privacy.

Kudos to her though, that amount of money is a life-changer. Hopefully she hires a good financial planner.
 
EVERYONE knows her now!! Her privacy is a thing of the past.

That would buy me a whole lotta detailing stuff, and a couple new rides to use it on. :lol:

A lot of states require a public appearance to accept the check. There`s no choice involved.

And on the opposite end of the publicity spectrum some states allow you to remain anonymous. I would just want the state that keeps their grubby hands off my winnings tax wise. WI is 7.65%!

Florida is not surprisingly one of the few states that takes no state tax. Another tax benefit to all you Sunshine Staters:)

Trust me, if I won I wouldn`t exist anymore once I was escorted out the back door into a guarded limo driven straight to a private jet taking me to an undisclosed location with nobody but my mom and dad having my new phone number. New house bought under a trust via a broker, all set up by my new financial/legal team.

Its stilly to say, but most people have no plan for what to do when they hit the jackpot and that`s why they blow it.
