I love your car too , congratulations!:)

Thanks DC! As the hours kept adding up I constantly wondered if I was just doing too much or if it would ever be finished. It felt VERY good to call it done!

Thanks Andrew. I would love to have been paid for this one....some serious $,$$$. But I'm rewarded every time I put my foot down ;)

Jeff,

One of the finest tutorials I've seen that walks the reader through each step illustrating the time and care taken to achieve such stunning results... A great selection of products and equipment!! :rockon

Since I too have a C5 Z06 I've booked marked it for reference when I tackle mine! :bigups

Tremendous work!! :yourrock

Thanks Bobby! I had to cut SOO much out to keep the pics down. May seem kinda crazy, but maybe for a 20hr job.....not a 70hr one lol. I don't always share my product choices and methods, but for something this big I wanted to show whats possible and how to get there.

Love to see yours Bobby! When are you going to do it?

What Bobby said. It really shows what restoration is really about....

Thanks Bunky!

Wow Jeff, simply amazing work! Congrats on the new "toy", Z06's are so awesome!!!:yourrock:bigups:yourrock:bigups

Thanks Todd! I like my toys with horsepower ;)

worth every minute....that car is shweeeeeeet!!!!!

Funny how that effect hits even more when working on your own car vs. a customer's.

Is this your only vehicle now, or just a garage queen/toy?

beyond amazing work !! wish I had the time, patience and skill to do this to my car but I'm no where near that level yet lol good luck with this beauty !!

WOW! Amazing the attention to every detail.

Beautiful job!

Now when you polish the paint that is behind the license plate support, which is behind the license plate, do you think you might be a tad obsessive compulsive… ?

the side by side with dads car looks like Blackhawk area. cars are prettier than the house. 70 hours is an amazing feat and the car looks concours.

WOW! Amazing the attention to every detail.

For normal people mebbe

But this is AF, and he shows us that detailing means paying attention to detail :D

I am counting 8, if you count the one in the windshield.

Amazing turn around!

Do you have any idea what they put on those interiors?

????? by Vital Car Care
Same thing this one, this is how it was when I got to it.... :: Shudders ::

Thanks!

Thats outgassing from the rubberized coating on the panels. Some APC or Megs Quick Interior Detailer will handle it nicely.
