#7 Before or After Sealant?

I have always used #7 before my carnauba, but have taken a liking to sealants over the past year and have not used #7 in conjunction with a sealant. Can you seal on top of #7? I usually do AIO, VM, or 1z Metallic and then a LSP. I plan on doing a full weekend detail, and want to polish, seal, and throw one of my carnauba's on top of that, but am confused on whether to put the #7 on before or after I seal. I'm thinking after the sealant, but before the wax. Is using #7 AND a carnauba topper on top of a sealant going too far? Is it possible for an autopian to go too far :D I've got some friends coming in from out of town and I want my titanium silver 'runner to glow.

Mild cleaning abilities, it goes after polishes, before sealants and waxes.

IMO, using #7 is kind of redundant with AIO or VM. Using AIO or VM with the other is also kind of redundant.

Thanks. I usually just do a 2-step process because I'm busy, but with company coming I thought if I was going to go all out I might as well throw #7 in the mix. So you don't think it would be worth it? It would definitely save me time to skip the #7, considering I think it is difficult to remove (it seem to grip my MF's)

I tried to use #7 on top of UPP but it didn't do anything for my paint. I think it even took away from the longevity of UPP.

Ever since then, I've only used #7 with carnuaba. CMA recommends #7 under Blackfire to give your paint more gloss but I haven't had the chance to use Blackfire yet.

I think it depends what sealant you're using - I don't think it would cause any problems under EX/EX-P as they seem to "stick" fine to VM so I can't see any reason why they wouldn't "stick" to #7.

That's my excuse anyway because I'm just about to put EX over #7:D
