I'm new to driving manual, but so far, I love it. I have the regular driving stuff down. The only problem I'm having is when I'm accelerating fast. I'm in first and take it to about 6-7000 RPM. Then, I hit the clutch and shift to second. When I let go of the cluth, the car lunges forward. This only happens going from 1st to 2nd. I'm thinking I'm holding the clutch down too long while I accelerate. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
