68 Pro Street Camaro *Teaser*

I have a 1999 SS, the inside of the rims are somewhat dirty, I was thinking of taking them off, spraying them with engine degreaser and Klasse'ing them. They are not chrome nor do they have any special coating that the degreaser would hurt.

Is there something I don't know here? The inside of the rims are dirty to the point where regular tire cleaner is not an option.

Degreaser and a cloth are about the only things I can think of.

I've used degreaser on some of the trucks I wash at my commercial accounts and have never had a problem. The rims are painted white though. The wheel cleaner i use is acid based and i have never needed to use degrease exept to save product on those huge trucks. However if you do use degreaser I wouldnt let it sit on there for very long, I don't know if it is safe for rims..Try taking the wheel off soaking it with a strong wheel cleaner, wipe it down with a mit used on wheels only, then blast it off with water.

67 Firebird? Wow man, only seen one in my life, it was mint, rolling on the highway, midnight blue.

What's your engine size? I know they had ALOT of engine choices during that period.

This week's project, full wetsand and buff.

More pics coming in about a week...
