Here is the before pic at my house. This is after it rained with the simoniz on there. Notice the rusty brown rotors.

This is after i put 1x AIO and 1x SG on the car, and DK's turtle wax finish 2001 tire shine. Look at the hood shine  ! hehe, I SG'd the headlights too, even they shine!

man and I thought you couldn't get mirror reflections with silver. Looks like the mercedes has some competition! :D

I love the xenons. I will never buy another car without them.

another shot of the xenons. I got IS300 plate frames too. Can you tell I'm excited!!! :)

That is one sweet looking car. I've always loved that car. If you get a chance to get some Pinnacle wax then I highly suggest you get some. It makes that particular color of silver absolutly glow. Very nice work with the Klasse. :xyxthumbs

here is one more, check the mileage. Did all that this weekend :D

you can barely read it, but it is 450 and change.

the power is amazing. I haven't really cut it loose because it has less than 1000 miles. But I tap the gas on the highway and you are 80-100 in no time. I pass cars that are going slow in the left lane(very annoying) on the right with absolute ease. I can't wait to floor it. Not as fast as the GS430 (those screw!) but still very quick. the 0-60 time is 6.6 seconds, so it's not bad at all. Quickest car I ever owned.

It is really nice to see someone with a car that can perform and they actually appreciate it and look forward to the next time they can open it up. I hate seeing these geriatric old guys, in cars that can haul, going 45 in the fast lane. Grrrrrr...... Keep us posted on the results.

Have you driven the Acura TL Type S? If so, how would you say it compares? I'm trying to decide which is better and I haven't been able to talk to someone that has driven both.

sorry, I almost did get a TL type-S until I was reading their website and saw that the turning radius was 40.7 feet!! :down . That is worse than my ML which is an suv. My lexus does it in 34 feet. Therefore I never even bothered driving the TL because I need a car to fit in tight spaces easily.

WOW Al, that IS is sweet! I particularly like the silver and red ones. I just love the hood shot under the florescents, very reflective.

I'm trying to decide on a car in the same segment as well. So far I've narrowed my choices between the Acura TLS, BMW 3, IS300, Nissan Maxima, Infiniti G35, and MB C class. I was leaning toward the Acura at one time, but I'm hearing more and more quality related problems with those cars, like tranny failure! :scared

So, I'm looking at maybe the new Infiniti G35 with 260HP, RWD, etc...sounds like a definite IS300/3 Series competitor. So many choices, so little money....

Anyhow, great choice Al, can't wait to hear more reports about your car in the future!
