'67 Big Block Vette... Red/Black Stinger...

Actually, the power cord shouldnt mar the finish if lightly touching, its that slamming or slapping action on the just polished surface that gives me that feeling of, "boy im stupid"

I was actually thinking about wrapping a microfiber towel around the top 2 feet of the cord and taping it on. I hav a bunch of MF towels; maybe I'll give that a try.

(I'll bet someone could make some money inventing a "Microfiber Cord Cover for Paint Protection"... Attach it with Velcro, Sell them for $6.95 and make a fortune! I'd buy one!)

Great job on the car man! Love classic Vettes! Hopefully I can get some of the old T-bird guys down here in my town sometime soon.

I had a chance to do an all original (including paint!) '55 Corvette last year. After looking at the paint (very thin and oxidized), I decided to pass.

I couldn't afford to buy the guy a paint job.:scared:

Ok, once again I was digging through the shine and show and I came across this beautiful Vette. Bill that is one very amazing Vette. The paint has a very deep deep shine to it. Just absolutely beautiful. I bet it was a real pleasure detailing that beauty. Nothing like old Vettes

Thanks Steve! I'm glad you resurrected this thread! I love looking back at some of the beauties I worked on this summer.

I always say that I love old muscle cars so much, I'd do them for free!!! (but I never tell the owners that! LOL)

You definitely had a nice string of muscle cars this year Bill! You should make a thread "looking back at the cars of 2009" or something! ;)

Here's a link to another '67 I did last summer. It's my favorite of all the Vettes I've done!

'67 Corvette Roadster / 427 / Marina Blue

Wow, thanks. What a classic beauty!!! I can imagine cruising down the road with the wind in whats left of my hair lol. The lines of the vettes are just spectacular, especially the 60s. You did an amazing job on that one Bill. I am very envious indeed. I can see why that is your favorite.
