What do you think of these rims?

LensoConceptFive.jpg

I was thinking of getting a set for the Integra. I really like em. I can't afford real Racing Harts so the copies will just have to do.

I know what you are talking about when you say those rivet things are hard to clean. These are my wheels right now...

They are fun to clean though. I'm one of those types that don't feel that I'm accomplishing anything if it isn't hard work. :) It makes "quick cleanings" hard to pull off and a full detail gets an extra hour added to it, but I think its worth it. I think I'm gonna get em. I can get a set of 4 17" rims with Z rated tires for around $900. Can't beat that.

I want to get new rims and plus one for my civic. Any web sites I can view rims? Any help on plus sizing?

Thanx:cool:

There are a few places that you can go online for rims. Tires.com is a good one. They have a great interactive program where you can see what the rims would look like on your car. Pretty spiffy. They are kind of expensive though. Get a copy of Super Street magazine. Its an import mag but it has a lot of wheel advertisments in it. That is where you are going to get your best deal. Wheelmax.comWheelmax.com[/url] is a good place to see what the rims look like too.

IMO, the ones you have on the car look more agressive, but the ones you are thinking of getting look cleaner. I prefer cleaner look.

Yah I know my photoshop skill sux big time, but it's Friday night and I'm kinda bored so.. LOL.

I think that looks pretty good. I'm glad you did that. I think they look a lot better. Plus they'll be 17" instead of 16" rims and they'll have much better rubber on them. Thanks for the photoshop job! :xyxthumbs

This 2010 Nissan GTR was from a referral from one of my other clients. This Customer had just bought this car a couple of months ago and recieved the car in this condition. This car was origanally saposed to be a wash and wax, but after explaining to the customer what potential this car had, we then decided to go for the paint correction. This car was scheduled for a 75%-90% correction.

Let's get this started, here is the car when I arrived

(notice all the wax residue on the edge of the clear bra)

First I degreased the tires using Megs Super degreaser

Then I applied Sonax Full Effect to the wheels

I used the wheel woolie to get into the wheels for a good cleaning.

Next is the pre-rinse to knock off any heavy/loose debris

Then I give the car a foam bath.

Then the car was brought in and clayed using Claymagic blue fine clay

Next I taped up all the plastic trim and edges of the clear bra

Here is a 50/50 shot after cutting the paint with a M105/D300 mixture and Surbuff pad on the Griot's 6in DA.

Notice that there is a slight haze left on the surface, this will be removed during the polishing/refinment stage.

The car was finished down with Menzerna 85RD on a LC Crimson pad, then the paint was sealed with one coat of Black Fire Wet Diamond.

The Rain was comming and the sun was hiding so these final pics will have to do.

Great work on that Eric! You got that posted up quick! I'm backlogged weeks on pics lol.

Love those 50/50 shots. You know the swirls are bad when the 15watt garage door light will show them! Excellent work again Eric! Hopefully this guy will spread the word.

Awesome job man and AMAZING car. It's great seeing a sub $100k car that can stomp on sports cars that cost twice as much!
