Hi,

I was wondering if there is a company that sells a full line of six inch wool pads for the rotary's? If not what is the best size for someone still learning the ropes? And should I still consider using a white finishing foam pad or jsut use wool? Thanks!!!

Yes, they are double sided. And some of the best pads to learn the rotary with. Honestly, even easier than PFW as they clean easier and hold up better. PFW is still my all time favorite pad and it's plenty easy to use, but the blue and green (and white finishing wool) Edge wool pads are so gentle you could grab a polish like FPII and *safely* learn/practice the rotary without much fear of damaging anything.

You can get the whole lineup from here.... E2K 6" Wool Pads

should I skip getting either the black, or white heavy cut pads? Do they both do the same thing? Should I get these pads and foam pads or can it all be done with wool?

Will I need an adapter ? (dewalt 849)

Thanks!

I haven't. I've heard some good reports around here that they are nice pads, but that they don't last very long.

I still have quite a bit of life left on my latest bunch of wool, so it's going to be quite a while before I try the So1o pads.

What wool would you recommend for a beginner if you wanna stick with Hook and Loop backing plates.. as in.. no double sided pads.
