6 days, 6 cars (Infiniti, Benz, Lexus, Porsche, Corvette, S200)

Excellent work as usual :2thumbs: all the cars look great but the Porsche and the S2000 are my personal favourite, extremely great depth :bow

All of them look awesome, but it looks like you could just dive into the paint on that S2000. LMAO @ "washed the car with a broom" :chuckle:

All excellent details!!!!!!!! :bow

This is my favorite shot. Unreal wetness.

I love the outcomes, your photography speaks volumes!

I see you finishing with 106ff and a white pad @ 1300 a lot now. Could you take a pic of where you work 106ff to before you stop buffing and wipe? I would like to give this a shot on my company car this weekend (light to moderate marring).

Whoa, S2000 is unreal. Souveran paste was used, correct?

Yep, Souveran Paste over Z5pro. Quickly becoming a fav of mine; Souveran goes over Z5 like buttah.

Souveran on black. :bow

Great work on all but I love the Porsche 911 with Z5 Pro.

Thanks, me too. It was my favorite one. :)

i agree your photography is freaking awesome. i really like the new G35. hope to get one by the end of this summer. great job with the vehicles. you never disappoint.

Good choice. They made an awesome car; took everything good about the first gen and kept it, then gave it a kick in the *** with an awesome interior and aggressive exterior.

I wonder how the broom looked in the wifey's mouth afterwards...

Haha; she really did feel bad. Lesson learned!

Nice! hope the owner of the G gets his problem resolved.... They all look great!

Me too man, super nice guy. I hope Infiniti steps up and fixes it.

Awesome turn out on that S2000:bow and the rest!! Don't you just love our Canadian winters and the nice salt all over... makes for good swirl and scratch removal challenges..can't count how many time i've seen the neighbour use a floor brush :soscared: to remove snow on his car and then when he sees me he asks...how do you keep your car looking so new??....

Man. Just today I washed an '04 G35, when I was done I was like ***...there was still salt on it. It gets in everything, that slurry they use now. I hate it. My car looks like new? Heh, the secret is to never wash it. It honestly hasn't been washed since December. I just give it a spray now and again. Waiting on nicer weather.

Looking good! What type of regime did you use on the Mercedes Carpet? Also what type of extractor? Thanks for the help,

andrew

Ah sorry, should have been more specific. I vacuumed then used 303 fabric cleaner concentrate cut 5:1 with water. I soaked the area, waited 10 min, then agitated with a carpet brush. I hit it with some more 303 then used a damp cloth to work on any remaining stains. Then I extracted with a Durrmaid mini and re-vac'd. Pain in the butt, but it needed it.

great job!!!

you mention pads by colour could you possible tell me the brand (lake country etc) and the size?

Sorry; all Lake Country. 6.5" flat pads on both the PC and rotary. The wool pad is 7.5" but I didn't use it in these details. It's a Meg's wool. I also have some ccs pads but don't really like them.

Hey Sean, no prob. I have an Audi tomorrow that I will almost definitely use 106ff on. I will snap a pic. I usually stop buffing as soon as it starts to dust, to give you an idea.

Kevin: Thanks for the response. I am going to tackle the Chrysler today, most likely with 106ff. I hope to have results similar to yours :).

Nice work as always. I have a G35 that had the quarter panel repainted. Have you experienced, that the area that was repainted, just scratches real easy? My experience is that, just the simple task of moving a micro fiber towel over the paint causes scratches. The colour I am working with is black and whenever I wash the car I dry the car using a leaf blower, to minimize the amount of scratches. After washing I end up having to polish out the surface scratches and reaplying wax. Its a real pain, so I just polish every 2nd wash.

I useto do a quick detail every other day but gave up because of the amount of surface scratches I was putting in the repainted area.

Right now I am waiting to hear from the paint shop as to who is their paint rep. and perhaps he might have any ideas as to what is happing. If I haveto live with this I will end up having to sell the car before I polish away the paint.:wall

Yes, I have experienced that. I think there are other members who have posted about similar issues with repaints. Personally I don't think any repaint should exhibit this behavior, and was probably improperly done.

Picus,

What can I say :heelclick

I love the Porsche and the G35 and heck, I love all of them.:lol

Great job!

Is it just me or on the last rear end shot of the S200. The drivers side rear tire...the pattern looks to be going to wrong direction? Or am I seeing things?

Dude I've heard about your skills but dang you got skills!!!!

All of those vehicles look incredable, well done. By the way you take good pictures.
