57 Chevy Convertible 31hr correction by Immaculate Reflections

I recently got a call from a new client to take care of a big group of cars for him, and this one was my favorite. A 3 step correction was selected for this classic to bring the luster back to the paint. The car had been painted several years ago with a very nice paint job but it just didn't have the gloss and depth it should have. It had its share of swirls, but also a lot of DA sanding pigtails and deep RIDS. 31 hours later the paint looked great again with lots of gloss and depth, looking how red is supposed to look. Paint was sealed with Zaino Z2pro. Since I'm posting up from Vegas (waiting for the SEMA show) I'll this short and get onto the pictures.

Oh man.... that car is incredible! I'd love to get my hands on a pro-touring style '57 like that. Maybe some day. :passout:

Awesome work, Jeff; not that we'd expect any less. :rockon

Now that's a car, a real car and what a great job you did. A car like that deserves the kind of treatment you just gave it.

Beautiful, perfect, turn around of this mess !!!
I have always liked that 57, even though I was 9 years old at the time they came out, I was putting gas in them at my Dad's gas station!
I cant remember that fuel injection/flags logo being on the fender way up there though....
Actually, isnt that from a Corvette ?

Thanks for sharing.

The 'vettes did use the same emblem, but yeah that's the correct factory emblem and placement for a Bel Air fuelie. If it were a 150 or 210, it would still have the "Fuel Injection" script in that spot, but no cross flags.

Thanks guys!!

Yeah I think that was from a Vette, but the motor and mirrors and the frame were from a Vette. The custom frame was vette inspired as well.

I've got a 66 Shelby GT350 Hurst from the same owner that I'll be posting up soon too.

Great to see the customer select the 3 step process from you. Always your work show's your skill and workmanship that will blow the customer's mind away. Thanks for sharing it here with us Jeff and enjoy SEMA!

My email notifications are wacky....I just got the email for this!

Thanks Angelo! He really wanted it to look its best, mucho dinero was spent on the paint and mods, so after seeing what I did with his 66 Shelby GT350 Hertz...he knew the 3 step would bring the best out of that $xx,xxx.00 paint job.
