Did a neat car today for a car show buddy ..

It had some issues with the clear where in a few placed it looked like the clear did not flow out properly .. sort of looked like the effect you get at the end of a rattle can stroke.

I used a yellow pad and some Turtle wax rubbing compound ( All I had as the DACP wasn't doing it ). I spritzed the pad with water to keep it wet and it was slow but we got most of it out along with some very mild orange peel.

This car has a done up small block in it and sounds just wild .. Big block waiting to go in ( Bored 454)

Then we did the #80 followed by NXT.

Here are a couple pix ..

BTW if your into model cars and have a hard time finding them this is his business .. www.modelexpress.net.

holy moly.......damn, that is so awesome!!!!!! :bow :xyxthumbs

i love that last picture.

and i'm liking the #80/NXT combo.

Looks awesome. Definatly a badass, and rare car. I'd rather look at old muscle over porsches and BMW's anyday. That was a nice break from the everyday detail jobs found on here. :xyxthumbs

 That's one sweet '56! Nice work!

PS: did anyone notice the clearcoat failure on the Ford Ranger in the second pic? :shocked :scared
