Today I cleaned up my brothers beige 97 altima.

NXT Wash

Tarminator lower panels and nasty spots

Clay Magic blue bar

NXT Wash

DACP/polishing pad, hood, front fenders roof and trunk lid.

Meguiar's QD to make sure any residue/dust was gone.

NXT Tech Wax

He was very happy, the car looked so clean and shiny, He was very impressed at how slick the finish was.

However I am some what disappointed. :( The PC and DACP did not do much for swirls, but it cleaned up pretty nice and gloss and clarity were improved. It appeared that I would have to do each panel about 4-5 times to remove the swirls. But I only did one shot. I could of spent all day removing the swirls, and had him come back next week to finish up. But he said it was fine, not to worry, He just wanted it waxed for winter. So I used NXT Tech Wax for the second time and I was very pleased with the results.

Conclusion: I have to learn to use a rotary, this will save me lots of time, not to mentions my back! :D

It makes me feel like crap when I know I could of done a better job but didn't have the time. But he seemed very pleased. He is not a very detail oriented person, But I showed him some of the minor stuff that was removed such as blue clay turning brown, side by side of what DACP cleaned up and cleared up, and How easy it is to apply and remove NXT Tech Wax. :D

I did not have a camera for pics, But I'll see if I could get him to snap a few and email them to me.

Hey if your brother was happy with the results than you did fine :D Some paints are just harder than others theres nothing you can do about it, dont sweat it!

My brother is waiting on a battery for his camera, so pics will have to wait. Sorry for the delay :nixweiss

By the way, Has anyone used Stoners Tarminator?

After the wash, I noticed tar, grease, bugs, black rubber bumper marks etc. I used tarminator on the front bumper and lower body panels, gave the entire side from bumper to bumper, door moldings down a nice spray of Tarminator. I then wiped it down with a clean terry towel, and boy, the stuff came right off, a few spots needed a second application but came right off. I then started to clay. Tarminator works great!
