400hp 25th Anniversary Edition Camaro

Hey Sean - just wanted to say thanks - the pics don't do it justice. Stoped to get gas on my way home that night and the paint looks SO much better- even under the flourescent lights which is a true test. I really had swirled the crap out of my car with some bad washing habits over the last 2 years, glad to have them gone.....:bow

Answers: Yes it is a 35th Ann., the 400HP is "crank" (last dyno was 340.2) and I'm going to the track with the Nittos on this weekend to try and improve on that. Like Sean said the 12.9 was my first pass, on street tires and done spur of the moment - I was so afraid to spin I left the line like I was trying to sneak down the track....real slow like.....

Thanks again - and tell your dad I said nice meeting him and good luck with the SVT.

Walter

P.S. Seriously, get over to that tanning salon - that chick was dangerously close to getting in the tanning bed with me, you should have no problem knocking that out LOL....:xyxthumbs

How did you do all those curves with the rotary? I've been reading up on rotary usage (since I have a rotary coming soon) and I've read that you should always keep the pad flat. So how did you do all those curves in the hood?

Walter: Glad you are happy. That is my number 1 priority. Good luck on your next runs :).

PS - Your nuts, my girl supercedes that chick in every area :).

Tom: For some reason this clear was getting light marring in heavy sun @1500rpm. I kicked it down and notch and it cleared it up :).

Paul: It wasn't easy. I had to adjust the speeds a lot on the trigger (slower on high points). I tried to keep as flat as possible as buffing on a curve increases marring. The PO106 eliminated the marring left from the IP.

Scott: Yup, one layer.

Tom: Or Wal-Mart/Target in the Home Improvement section.

Zane: No ZFX. The weather this weekend called for no rain within 24 hrs of the detail.

Just FYI, it's probably a 35th Anniversary edition. A 25th anniversary would be a 1992, which was the last year of the 80's body style. :)

Looks sharp, though!

I was just thinking that same thing....

beautiful car though, and nice job on it!

Wow looks incredible....I'll be doing my NBM Trans Am in the next 2 weeks, I hope my Zaino application comes out just as good
