40% OFF Porter Cable 7424XP Polisher Kit

Okay, after weeks of confusion and deliberation, I pulled the trigger on this deal! I'm a little bemused that I spent weeks researching polishes, pad sizes, etc. etc. etc. and then heard about UNO and made the decision in one night. Fingers crossed that it goes well! It was a solid enough discount that even if I have to order other polishes and pads it's still a pretty good deal!

GS

(P.S. In the event that I do end up going with other products, do I need to order anything else to use Lake Country 5" pads with the PCXP and Meg's M105/M205?)

Hi Gary,

Thanks for jumping in on the HD offer.

If you choose to use other polish and pad combinations, you will need to make sure you have the backing plate size recommended by the pad manufacturer. The backing plate that comes with the HD POLISHER kit will work fine with pads from 5" to 5.5".

Enjoy!

Thanks, Josh. Ships tomorrow. You should have it on or before Friday.

Hey! I ordered the polisher kit and the HD Poxy Wax. Great deal! Unfortunately, after ordering I found a few other items I would like to try out rather than my normal stuff. Would it be possible to add some things to my order? Let me know ASAP so my order can be sent out ASAP and hopefully with all of the items I am wanting. Thanks!

Thank you, Mike. Yes, the easiest way to do it is to create a second order. I will combine them into one and credit your PayPal back the base shipping charge today.

Better, yet, why don't you PM me with the items you wnt added and I will send you the updated PayPal statement.

:hifive:

How much for shipping to canada?

3D will begin shpping USPS Global Priority mid month. The polisher package will be approximately 11 Lbs fully boxed. According to the USPS site, it will cost $34 USD.

The reason it's taking time to ship Internationally is because we want to do flat-rate shipping. If we re-pack the kit in a flat rate box, the shipping is only $25 USD.

Thats awesome!!!!!!!$$$145 shipped to my door!!!!!!!!!!!Its crazy too!!!!!!

How difficult is it to learn how to use one of these for polishing? I've done some pretty intense detailing on numerous cars and used every type of product one would use, but I've never used an orbital. I know that it's dangerous to try and buff a car without knowing what you're doing, but I've heard that polishing is much easier. Is this true? I might have to jump on this deal if it's not too difficult (or dangerous) to learn.

it's safe (use with common sense like anything else) and once you use one, you'll wonder why you didn't buy one sooner...

Hi everyone, I'm fairly new to detailing. I just couldn't decide on which DA to pickup. This deal got me sold!

David, quick question. Is this HD Uno - High Definition Car Polish Wax & Finish | 3DProducts.com, the same product that comes in the kit? In another post you mention 16 & 32oz for the Pro line. Thanks.

HD UNO and POXY started life as 3D pro line products. Both products went through extensive changes after I got involved. Any pro line product with a manufacture date after 22 July, 2009 is the same as the new consumer line.

A week ago the owner of 3D decided that only size for HD UNO and POXY going forward will be 32 oz. (no pints or gallons). If you find a pint or gallon size of either product remaining, it's probably old formula.
