3m Rubbing Compounds and Polishes

I'm looking at buying some 3m Perfect it III machine glaze and rubbing compound. I've never used their Perfect it III line, but I have used the rubbing compound and machine polish in the 3m Perfect it II line and liked them well. Do the Perfect it III polishes and compounds work better than the II line? 3m says they are formulated to reduce splatter and are easier to clean out of crevices, but are they really worth the extra money? BTW, I'll be using the products by rotary. I've seen some reviews of the III line on the board and product review page, but nothing much that directly compares the products between the II and III lines. Thanks for any info you all have!

There's a body shop supplier in my town tha carries most of the professional line of Meguiars and 3m. I went by there today and noticed they had the rubbing compound, extra cut compound, and machine glaze of the III line.

You heard right, PI III is better than PI II for a few reasons. The most obvious are: 1) Less dusting, which I'm sure you are getting tired of with the PI II already, 2) Better finish than the PI II, and 3) PI II contains products that can be harmful to your health and can be potentially carcinogenic if swallowed and with the amount of dust PI II produces, that would be hard to not do.
