For those that have had the clear film installed, would you be willing to let me know what it cost?

I am considering taking a 3 day course to become a 3M Factory Certified Paint Protection Film Installer in Sarasota, FL.

Dwayne, I would say it's pretty lucrative. I got quotes soon after I got my Mazda6, and they ranged from low $500 to over $800 (this is in South Florida). I could've gotten the 3M film "computerized pre-cut specific to my model" off ebay for like $50, but was afraid to attempt install myself as I've heard it can be very tricky to install.

Of course I wouldn't dare take that film anywhere to ask them to install because any flaws in the job would automatically be blamed on the cut. Therefore I have no film, just several chips in the bumper's paint in the 5 months I've owned the vehicle.

It would cost 5 or 6 hundred bucks to get the Legacy done. It is the install that costs the most money. The parts themselves I could probably get for about $200. To get it installed would cost a lot though.
