dsms said:Looking for 3M FCP, cant find it in the US. Anyone know who sells it here? Im also looking for the new 3M FCP green cutting pad to go along with it.
TH0001 said:Rydawg has it and I spoke with him on the phone about it. He claims that it is absolute garbage and has a LOT of filling action.
He said that it took 5-7 wipedowns with straight alcohol to get it to release, but it looked like a body shop compound.
dsms said:I was told/under the impression that the new 3M polishes like FCP do not fill, I know that is not the case with the older versions of 3M stuff though. I saw some of Clark from Polished Bliss' recent work and he used 3M FCP with great results he and seems to really like it (used in conjunction with the FCP green foam pad). I have only used Ultrafina from 3M so I cant comment on their cutting polishes. I'd like to know if FCP really does fill. But if Rydawg says it fills than I believe him.
PrideSS said:I've only seen it in European stores, but I would also like to try some out.

porta said:This is a very nice compound. Don´t gum up the pads and don´t dust like crazy...

dsms said:How does it cut compared to 105, what pad are you using with it and where do you find it in the US, if possible? Thanks
rydawg said:Works in the same theory with the new technology of micro abrasives. Has an amazing lubrication carrier that just glides.
Has way more cut and finishes off way better. Stays wet for a very long time and the working time is almost unlimited.:bigups
MarkV is located in CA. They do have a website, but you have to call to place an order.
I give it the Rydawg thumbs up!:xyxthumbs
I had two vehicles last month that were absolute nightmare horror shows and after trying everything I have in stock, MV350 was the only thing that would cut through the barrier of resiliency, the super long work time not only removed the defects, but leveled out the paint perfect and gave an amazing base bottom glow. I was very impressed.
