I want to clear the air a bit on this subject. Meguiar's is in negotiations to sell the business to 3M. The official word on this matter is that NOTHING will change. Meguiar's will continue to compete with 3M just like before, and Meguiar's will still be run by Berry himself. Nothing will change for the worse. The only thing that may come out of this deal immediately are better products, with the two companies putting their best and brightest behind both brands, and more invested in R&D. The two businesses will run as separate entities!
