#38 blotching and bleeding from trim after wash!

Just got the #38 and like it but It seems to have bled on to the paintwork and blotched on trim after the first wash. I did a wipe down after first application but maybe I could of done a little more.



Anyone getting the same symptoms with #38?

I use PB TrimRestorer which is a similar product and I don't have any blotching or bleeding. I rub it into the vinyl surface well after application and maybe that's the secret.

I would expect the Meguiars product to act the same (it is not available in Canada). The Poorboy's product works very well and only a few drops are required. Try putting on less and rubbing it in better.

use as little as possible, and after it sets up, wipe it down with a mf. that will take off any excess.
 
about a half hour if that long. depends on the weather. basically as long as it's dry except for where it's to heavy.
