36hr "Mini Resto" vs. NSX: 130pics+Vids by dsms...

Excellent write up excellent outcome! David you write ups continue to improve each time and you paint corrections skills are now "top Notch"

I have a position up this summer at the gloss-it headquarters! Just let me know I will have the plane ticket ready..

Back off Rich, dave does not want to go to decadent Vegas I mean what is there to do in that town anyway......... :tumblewee he wants to come to Cali during Monterey week in August to experience the mecca of Automotive tightness.

Dave we will do the "Quail" then the historics, and finish on the lawn @ Pebble!!

I think your write up and pics are as impressive as the job itself ! I hope the owner pee'd himself when he saw your work.

-This may be a dumb question so please forgive : Did you charge by the hour or by the job?

Monterey week would be nice, August is a big month for me but hopefully I can make it out :xyxthumbs

One of the best details ever posted on this forum! Great job Dave!

The before/afters on the black sail panels is just silly, it really came out perfect! Awesome work, I'm tired just looking at the work done.

Great work and great writeup as usual! I guess that Flex rotary is as loud as they say, kudos to you for wearing hearing protection.

The flex isn't a terribly loud machine, its drone is just higher pitched than the rest of them so hearing protection is a must IMO.

Definitely one of the best details I have seen in a while!!

Your attention to detail is top notch...

Looks incredible!!

As Dave has pointed out, I use ear protection all the time, this goes back to my Navy days on a weapons handling team on my ship where you were expected to have eye protection, ear plugs and steel toe boots without exception.

The drone of the buffer WILL take your hearing little by little over time without you noticing it until it is too late.

Bob said it best and thats who I learned this from!

that is truly superb work!!!! I would call that a little more than a mini resto!

Good photography skills too, i like the use of multiple lights. Great job!

Unbelievable skills there. I think we all need to start posting up pics of the owners intitial reactions when they see amazing work like this done. That would just be the perfect ending to a great detail.

This NSX owner will very carefully inspect the car first before saying much, once hes happy then the true expressions come out:woot:
