A 3000GT in RED now in RED

The owner had been going in the right direction after trying Swiss cleaner medium and strong, but just wasn't getting the desired results by hand.

A good restoration in order, for a nice drivers car IMO.

Colour restoration via rotary SFX1 pad with SFX1 polish, Menz IP in places.

Finished with SFX3 glaze by PC with SFX2 pad.

Cleaned up with Swiss.fluid and 2 layers of Swiss.BOS, and extra run around panel lines/contours after.

What car do those wheels belong to ?

Thanks for reading.

Wow have not seen that car in a while. Around here (Los Angeles area) two types of people were associated with that car back in the days: (a) aerospace engineer types and (b) strippers LOL. Don't ask me why. We used to call them stripper mobiles.

Awesome work. You can tell in that first pic there is no gloss but in the second it polished out so nicely theres some reflection.

Isnt it great how easy it is to make red dripping wet?

Heh, the red on my car looks like someone spit on it.

But Cherished got this one wetter than the perfect storm. Awesome work.

Thanks,

Don't know about easy, it took 8 hours, lots of stuff turning red, a good finishing glaze (SFX3), 2 Layers of Swissvax Best of Show and no lunchbreak:buffing:
