I fight the sun all the time too. As far as compound goes the wolfgang uber compound does real well in direct sun without any powdering.
Did you guys use any swirl finder lights inside the garage?
I've been using an led headlamp and loving it. Plus it is very stylish and impresses the ladies. :redface:

Troy I using Eric's light which work great, but the sun light was so bright that day and the garage was not even dark at all. Sorry you couldn't make but hope your trip was great!

oh that Eric, I gotcha. I hardly ever use my Brinkman anymore. The headlamp shows more and you can buff while using it.

hey troy, I had my brinkman dual xenon light, which really didn't do a whole lot. I think it's pretty outdated now with all the nice leds out there. I am going to order one of you head lights for sure. plus we're always in for impressing the ladies with any extra style we can get.
