3 month old truck questions

Have a 3 month old Silver Dodge Ram Quad Cab that I just had lowered.... Havent even changed the oil on it yet.



Want to put my first coat of wax on it and dont know where to start.....I have read lots of threads for many hours and there are so many suggestions.



I know I will wash and then clay it a little, but as far as everything after that I am lost.



It doesnt have any swirl marks or scratches of any kind. Basically brand new paint job.



Recommendations??

Since you don't have any noticable paint defects after claying you could use an intermediate product that provides a little polishing and also enhances the shine of your LSP.



Before I could recommend an intermediate product (VM, PwC, AIO, etc ...), you'll have to decide which LSP you're going to use, e.g. wax or sealant.



Keep reading and learning. Also do a search of "favorite combos for silver".
 
Luck you. If you want an easy 4 step and protection for 6 months listen.

Sonus Clay, Klasse AIO, Klasse SG and P21S. It sounds like you have a garage. When applying the SG let it sit on your car out of the elements for 24 hrs so it cures. Ultimate protection for you paint. Got to have it clean before you can have shine and protection so that's why you need CLay and AIO. Clay will help smooth that paint out since it's new (overspray). Put as many coats of SG on before you put some wax on. Wait 24 hrs then apply wax. I suggest P21S, but souveran is fine also.

Keep that new paint looking great. Get some Sonus Acrylic Spritz for just wax shine after washes. OH don't forget shampoo for your truck. I suggest SOnus. Cheapest per wash.
