3 Ferrari Corrections: 2 F430's and one real bad orginal paint Boxer

What concentration do you use P21S Total Auto Wash using the two bucket method?

Great qeustion Bert, a small amount, more then a light splash but less then a large gulp? I really don't know, a couple capfuls I suppose.

Great work on some amazing exotics as usual Todd! I'm jealous of these clients you have, I have a few customers with exotics but you definitely cater to a clientele base who looks for that upper level of perfection!

Thanks Labster. I am very lucky to have the clients that I do, but I can honestly tell you (from having experience in both) that it isn't more enjoyable or different to do Ferrari's or Honda's. The difference is the clients and their expectations (and this isn't always based on the car they own either!), paint is still paint.

Autopian tag line of the decade!! Please update your signature to this. Great work.

LOL thanks David, but that Tag line is actually a slight varation on something that Brian Brice told me once (only slightly different). Its his line and I stole it!

Stunning work as always Todd. Looking forward to the 550 Barchetta detail, one of my favorite cars ever in the Ferrari lineup!!!

Thanks GoFast, I probably won't do a write up on that car though. Just in that model range I have a 575 SuperAmerica and two 550's infront of it that I haven't even written up (and probably won't). I've kind of given up doing write ups, but these clients asked for one. I just added them together for one thread.

Very nice.

"Cutting corners" does not give you good results anyhow. :)

:D Next time I cut a corner I'm going to try it with twisted wool and some rocks-ena-bottle...

The shot of this quarter would make a great poster.... NICE JOB! :bigups

You guys must be tired!

Thanks Kevin! The Boxer was done about a month ago with Brian's help, and despite the work done, it actually went quite quick. The F430's I did a couple of weeks ago by my lonesome, and I was exhausted!!!

Very nice work. One item that jumped out at me is how good some of your before/after shots were (it appears you used a tripod and left the camera in the exact same location). Anyway, that was the nicest thing about the write-up and I greatly appreciated that more than someone posting 100 shots from every angle possible. Less is more in that case for sure.

Regards,

Rich

Thanks Rich! I can get over board with my photos (look at my Gallardo write up with 330 pics!) but I agree that less is more. I stole the camera idea from 01BlueCls who used to use it in all his details (which are still the pinnacle IMO).

Good work as usual Todd. How's the Mark V products working?

They are very nice in cutting power (both the MV350 and Uno) but both have filling ability (on purpose). A alcohol wipe down removes it quickly though. Besides the filling, the MV350 has a lot of cut and goes on and on and on. If you don't mind doing a wipedown, it is one of the nicest compounds IMO.

A couple capfuls in a five gallon bucket full of water is all you need? Nothing else mixed in with it? I would not have thought that would be enough to make a difference.

It's coming along nicely, we've got tons to paint and renovate.....unfortunately the Heated and AC'd :woot2: 550 sq ft rear entry garage will be the last to get overhalled.....:(

I can't wait to tear into it.

Josh

Excellent work Todd...Per usual. Sorry about not having the chance to meet up. I may just have to make a special trip to Orlando for a few days. Especially when you're working on one of the exotics.

Unbelievable work as always Todd!

I have been waiting to see the pics of the 512 for a while. It's hard to believe it is the same car. You must have increased the value by double!

Everything looks amazing!! Can't wait to see more...

Seems to make a big difference, about four gallons of water and several cap fulls.
