Damn those cars look great. The owner of the first two cars has a bad a$$ house...and some sweet rides.

I am glad I did not attempt to fix the CTS-V. If you had to take 3 passes with a rotary theres no way I would have been close. Came out really good though. Nice job

Jay, I totally forgot you were supposed to come and hang out that day. I should have called you, it would have been a perfect learning opportunity as I got out about 90% of the swirls, but some were just cut in too deeply, the owner of the hack shop admitted they "MAY" have used a dirty pad on the car....... ya think!!

I did the entire hood, took me about 3 hours. Too wetsand the whole car would have been triple the cost and time so he is going to let the shop take care of it.

Next time I'm down we'll have to get together or something.

Excellent on all three, really love those rims on the S5500-wish my customer with an S550 had those wheels instead of the truly evil 22 spoke wheels it has now.

Too bad about the CTS-V, I went through the same thing with a hammered M35.

Tough when the sun is going down earlier now, isn't it? All that rain this summer and I am sure you are as slammed as I am and the days just aren't long enough.

Scott, I wish I was half as busy as you.......I don't quite have my client base built up like you do.:sadwavey:

I was disappointed cause I knew I could get all the swirls out, but I was in Houston and it would be more like a 2-3 day job and I don't do those while in Houston. I gave it two passes with the rotary, LC orange pad, Men PG and one pass with a LC white and Men IP and then hit it one time with the PC, orange pad and IP to get the holograms out. That took out 90% but there were still those deeper ones...... I just wish I had an extra day with it and I would have had it back to new no prob.

Absolutely amazing job on all three!

That Z06 is completely insane and looks incredible. Did you say that he's putting lambo doors on it? :nervous2: I sure hope not!

Josh, don't worry. I have been really busy lately so I probably wouldn't have been able to show up. I didn't know you were coming down so soon. Yeah let me know when you're back.

Yes, to each his own, but personally I like the vertical door look on the vette.

Here's one I did with lambo doors.

Well, I don't normally do such serious paint correction on my out of town trips, but with this one being all over the forum and all I thought I'd give it a try.

I should be back sometime next month, but don't plan on using the rotary unless it's for something something needed less correction.
