how was the #16 to remove ? i've heard horror stories that it is harder thant a maiden coat of klasse sg ?

It was applied to the whole car with a Meg's yellow foam pad. Waited a few minutes (weather wasn't warm at all) then I took one of the 50 new MF towels that I ordered recently from Winner Circle Detailing products and wiped it off section after section. These new green towels are very very nice btw.

To remove #16 is not hard at all. If you apply a little more then a thin layer - it just needs a bit extra buffing. I love #16

No need to panic about #16

Btw, when in a hurry, I use a damp MFT to remove SG. Works every time.

To know how a product really works, I always look for advice from the long time professionals on this board.

Try to do the same to save yourself from unwanted headaches.

Listening to someone with 85 posts may not be a good idea in general when it comes to user friendly suggestions. m2c

tell us how u cleaned the headliner??? please.......

Sorry!!! I always do the same thing for the headliners.....

Woolite mix sprayed on a MF towel and I rub it back and forth untill spot dissapears.

I should have taken pictures of the left rear pillar - the plastic/vinyl was full of these black marks, like on the headliner - even on the back door.

There were 3 spots by the door handle that wouldn't come off, no matter how hard or fast I rubbed. I will call the owners tonight and ask them what it is.

I want to thank Sean and of course Scottwax (and all the others that list it as one of their "go to" product) for suggesting the Woolite mix. What a life saver! Thanks guys!

Very nice! Clear, wet reflections on silver! Great job on the headliner too, those can be pretty hit and miss because you can't get too aggressive with pressure or products.

Another application option with #16 is apply it a fender or two at time then remove, much the way you would use S100 or Souveran.

Thanks Scottwax, that is how I applied the first coat of #16 last week.

As far as the headliner is concerned, the quality equaled my car's I'd say,so I was able to use some pressure without worrying too much.

Watch them call me tomorrow complaining about a loose headliner :D :D ;D

Looks great!

Very wet and reflective.

Headliners are always fun. I usually charge extra for them because of the time I have to take with it...Did you?

Thanks Sean - I usually don't charge extra for it, but honestly I didn't notice it until this morning when I started the inside. Didn't take too much time to get it clean.

$150 is what I charged her and as I mentioned before they are my massage clients. Others would pay $200.00 with the headliner detail. Which should make you wonder about your prices. You should charge extra imho. Your work is worth more.

They asked for a "handful" of flyers - others are interested at her work. See what happens.

Thanks!

Thomas,

You might try a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser on some of the marks on the plastic. I've had great luck with those things getting off all SORTS of stuff in my cars. I had some black tar stuff from inside the door (used by Mazda to keep a plastic sheet in place) on the door handles, and the Magic Eraser got the tar off, even inside the textured parts of the handle.
