New client, new car, was interested in a coating to maximize the protection of their new ride.
Best paint I’ve seen on a Tesla to date. Still a bunch of defects, but not as bad as I’ve seen on previous vehicles.

The ‘details’:

Gary Dean Shampoo.
McKee’s37 Iron Remover.
Medium Clay Mitt.
Adam’s Wheel Cleaner.
Adam’s Tire and Rubber Cleaner.
Adam’s Rinse and Coat to seal wheels/calipers.
Flex 3401.
Flex pixie.
DeFelsko PTG.
ScanGrip/GYEON lighting.
Griot’s Perfecting Cream.
Adam’s Surface Prep.
Adam’s Graphene Coating.
Blackfire Tire Dressing.
Autofinesse Glass Cleaner.
McKee’s37 Quick Interior Detailer.
GYEON Leather Shield on all seating surfaces.
Metro Vacuum.

Thanks for looking!

Strange spotting/chemical marks on the black trim

Nice work. Never seen the inside of one of those before. A coworker just got the same color car so now I will send him these pics so he can see how it looks when properly detailed.

Sizzle Chest:
How DID you remove that "strange blue spotting marks" from the trim? Chemically (wash or iron decon) OR mechanically (physical polishing)?

Did you remove the wheels on this one? I assume the lug nuts are hidden behind the center "cap".

Nice performance numbers. But I can "only" go 155 MPH for 2 hours based on the 303 max range. Hey, even I can do the speed/distance/time math! (ANOTHER title for Captain Obvious; Human calculator!)

Nice workmanship as usual.

Highly "dislike" the center "Jumbo-tron" info/control screen, with NO gauges in front of the driver. Wait; this vehicles drives itself. Moot issue, isn`t it. Does this vehicle come with the pillow-head rest with a flat Tempurpedic reclined driver`s seat? (Cynicism will get you nowhere, Captain Obvious, living in the 20th-century steering wheel with rack-and-pinion, manual transmission, fuel-injected internal combustion engine era. Get used to it because it is no longer in the future; this IS today! That, and the magazine "Car and Driver" is about to become "Car and Computer")

Thanks everyone! LOL Brandt, show them! Haha.

Lonnie: Thanks! I polished the trim pieces to remove those defects.

Wheels stayed on and got cleaned and sealed.

Wow Scott, that color responds nicely to a proper correction. I have always loved those turbine wheels but the matte finish sort of hides them...as usual, beautiful result!

Hey can I revive a thread?
Wow Sizzle C I see you have some Tesla hands on experience.
I`m cleaning the interior of a Blue 21 Y. The front seats and door panels have a white (ish) dull stain from sunscreen lotion. Do you think McKee’s37 will cover or lift it from the black interior ? I go to the Tesla website for info. sometimes, and any mention of cleaning the seats is with soap and water. That isn`t working too well.

Nice work!

I agree. It appears Tesla is getting "better" with their painting

Thanks Mike!

PDoyle: If their interior quick detailer won`t remove it, I would want to step up to their total interior cleaner. Test on an inconspicuous spot first!

Quick update. I used the Total interior detailer on the black Tesla interior to get rid of the suntan lotion and it worked really well. Thanks for the advice.:D
