2016 TRDPro 4Runner detail question

Hello fellow avid deatilers!

im new to this whole process so please bare with me.

I recently purchased a new 4Runner and want to take great care of it. I have been doing some research and have come up with what I think could be a good detail.

1. Wash
2. Clay
3. Wash
4. Wax
5. Acrylic spray sealant

I won`t be using clay every wash, but figured the other steps are necessary. I also could use some input on what to use on the interior dash/trim. any information is very appreciated! Eager to learn.

Add decontaminate to the list to get things started out on the right foot. It is most often performed during the initial wash process. Any reason for specifying an acrylic? I ask only as I feel you eliminate many good sealants and coatings in doing so. Many would recommend a wax if you choose to use it follow your choice of sealant. A good sealant or coating certainly does not require a wax topper. Sealants can be finicky on top of a wax.

I listed the acrylic sealant due to it getting great reviews. Was thinking about using "blitz" from chemical guys. Would most skip the wax and only use this product then?
 
I think you are over thinking it. A lot of manufacturers suggest layering their products, but most of the time it`s not necessary.
Just choose a good wax or sealant. Then, I`d suggest a maintenance product, such as Duragloss Aquawax every couple of weeks.
 
Apply any sealant of your choice. I personally like Blackfire Wet Diamond. Give it time to cure. Then you can choose to top it with a carnauba wax if you`d like. Use a QD or spray wax after washes.
