I’ve been sitting on these almost a month now but haven’t gotten around to posting, so here it is finally.
A family friend and previous client traded in his Yellow Jacket SRT8 Challenger in for this 2014 Shelby GT500. 662 ponies out of this little Mustang. Wow this thing was a blast to drive.
Washed with Citrus Red, Wolf’s DeIronizer, another rinse then ONR for good measure
Speedy Prep Light
Vehicle had only been driven a few times and surprisingly any light scratches in the paint were removed by the Duetto and yellow rupes pad with the Black Label Surface Cleansing Polish. The white ultra finishing rupes pad is normally how I apply this when going via duetto but the yellow rupes pad helped more with the little fine scratches in the paint probably from dealership washing because he told me he hadn't even washed the vehicle yet.
Black Label Paint, Glass, and Wheel coating
After a day of curing I went over the vehicle with Black Label Detail Spray and then the Black Label Coating Booster.
I was then allowed to take this beast out for a nice ‘no rules’ drive by myself and I have to say that made the whole project worth it in itself.
After my drive I felt bad for the car so I gave it a bath with the Black Label Shampoo and after drying I used the BL detail spray before we put it in his shop for dirt free safekeeping.

Sadly, I could barely keep the vehicle clean long enough to take photos. You can see some dirt specs on the paint even in this picture, about 1 minute after I wiped that door down. Gotta love west Texas weather.
I like the way the sun rays hit the vehicle in this picture.
