Quick new car prep for a Matte Black Exige S, different techniques needed to be applied as this finish doing any polishing is a no no........... . The factory has put on a "Rubber infused finish and actually recommends using "Armour All" so as I did not want to chase streaking all day I did not use "Silicons" in a bottle and used my dressing which worked really nice.

Dirty wheels and car.

Getting started with a careful wash, Sonax FE applied to the matte finish wheels (Conventional matte paint not rubber infused).

Very sweet little ride for sure. I'm to fat for one of them, but love the stealth look. " Sure Sir, I correct that finish. Let me run to Walmart and and grab some Armoural and spray that ***** down!" lol What are these factories thinking. Nice clean up Bob.

Technically speaking, Armor All was reformulated and is now a water based product.... has been for around a decade now.

Regardless, that car came out looking great! Never heard of a "rubber infused" finish.... very interesting indeed.

LOL looks like I'm hiding in the pics. Too bad I wasn't able to get a pic of Bob on the inside of this car, it was a cool sight.

That 50/50 pic is awesome Bob. Great work, totally certified.

I really don't care for that paint at all. I'm curious though, wouldn't that look like crap once it gets a few scratches (since it couldn't be polished) in the finish, or is it pretty much impervious to scratches?
