2012 Honda Odyssey

My name is Mike
A co-worker and returning customer's wife's (http://www.autopiaforums.com/forums/detailers-showcase/39293-blackfire-odyssey.html). He had done an awesome job maintaining the van since I new car prepped it. That is until his wife hit the garage with it. Off to the body shop and it returned with clear overspray on the glass and hood. They took it back to the body shop to get the glass cleaned up but (attributed to the wife, mind you) "I don't think Mike would want them to try to fix the paint." I told him I would probably get kicked out of the Cool Kid's Club for working on a mini-van but, if my work was that appreciated, I would take that chance. ;)

My usual decon (foam with OPC + CG CW, rinseless (this time with CG Hose Free EcoWash) and "claying" with the Nanoskin Autoscrub pad + GG6 + Nanoskin Glide) and here was what was left of the overspray:

My omnipotent Rupes didn't even break a sweat (Rupes 21 + CG Hexlogic Orange + Carpro Fixer). It should be bronzed. ;)

The repaired fender was exceedingly soft. Tried a few combos and wound up using Menz PO203S + CG Hexlogic White. Most of the rest was still flawless so just spruced it up with Menz 106fa + CG Hexlogic White. I was a little surprised that this combo still quickly removed some light RIDS and paint transfers from lesser meetings with other objects. About 3 hours of polishing (by myself).

The wife's other big concern were the jean transfers to the beige leather seats. The befores were much worse than they look in the pics:

I haven't yet figured out how the Rupes can help me here so fell back to my usual leather cleaning regimen (Lexol Leather Cleaner, soft horsehair brush with some passionate scrubbing, Dupray Hill Injection with triangular head + MF followed by MF wipe down). Less than 5 min per seat later, they looked new again:

Very nice work Mike. The seats cleaned up very nice. Still liking the Carpro FG cloth?

Awesome work mike! Now sorry to inform you... You no longer in the cool kid club for touching a mini van(please dont search my previous writes as no one noticed the few I've posted:rofl)

Thanks everyone.

I do like it. It isn't perfect but works as well as or better than anything else I have tried.
