So I get a call about a "mustang" cobra (shelby gt 500), it's a 2011 and the dealership wants to repaint it do to a few very minor water etching and some few dozen "dots" on the roof.
I'm like repaint? bring it too me first.
So I get the car, wash, clay entire car then wetsand one dime size area on the hood, buff out 2/3 of the hood, most of the roof and the trunk then seal it all with blackfire wet diamond.
All the damage came out with minimal efforts. Just goes to show you the ignorance of the dealerships.
No pics before or of the damage as it was extremely minor and hard to photograph but got the end results of course.
The car had never been clayed before and after claying basically all the "dots" on the roof were gone.
This is with 1200 miles on it after 1 1/2 months of ownership. And who says garage queen new cars don't need to be clayed?
