This one came in really nasty but cleaned up well. I ended up having to buff the whole car because it had stains that a polish on the rotary wouldn't touch. It appeared that some kind of chemical was spilled on the trunk/quarter panels on both sides that really deadened the paint. Other than cleaning I painted the front and rear bumpers.

-Dawn Wash
-Clay Bar
-HD Cut on Wool Rotary
-ONR wash
-Opti Seal on paint
-OCW on glass
-Meguiars Tire shine on tires
-Cleaned Leather
-Scrubbed mats with washing detergent and allowed to dry. Cleaned other spots with Folex
-Sonus Leather Conditioner on leather

2007 Silverado

Basically rebuit the front end after a deer ran into it.

Nice job! Any idea what that was on the Accord? It looked like that paint was stripped down.

The Honda looks amazing. Did you do the paint on the new fender on the truck? I like the black molding on the top of the bumper.

If you are talking about the bumpers in the first few pictures that was after I feathered out the paint. Now as for the trunk/quarter panels...I have no idea what it was. I tried to just go over it with some hd polish on my rotary but it didn't do anything to it. I even tried hd cut on a foam pad and nothing. I had to use a wool pad with the hd cut to remove it.

Yes I painted the fender and the door on the truck. It belongs to my dad and to save him from paying out his $500 deductible and to make myself a little cash I did the work for him. The paintable bumper pad is like $200. I was able to get a complete aftermarket bumper that meets factory specs for $350. He and I both like the look of the black pad better than the painted. I sanded and clearcoated the headlights/park lamps too.

Did you follow up the HD cut at all? Nothing in your description saying you polished. Or I missed it somewhere.

Great work!
