I have been using Pinnacle Souveran & it is great, Smell is fantastic, but this wax is 70 bucks, ouch.

Any recommendations for a good EASY wax for black.

I was thinking of trying P21S paste or Blitz.

Any thoughts?

i haven't tried blitz yet although it gets great press here...

i use p21s paste in my black jetta after the SG and it really sings.

durable and not overly expensive. easy to apply.

my 2 cents.

see the result on the arnage - ill take some more snaps tommorow - bigger ones - all around the car

Use P21S unless you get Souveran on sale watch out for the residue of BLITZ=great wax but im not taping everything up to keep the residue out.

I love Souveran on my black car too. Underneath it i have meguia'rs gold class - excellent shine - not the best longevity. If you value longevity go with a polymer.

I KNOW i can't keep swirls out of my paint for as long as the polymers last - so they seem like a waste of effort. I would use them on vehicles that don't show swirls as much, or ones you don't detail as often (like your wife's car..... ;)

Souveran blows the competition away when it comes to black cars. :bow

If you want the best, go with Souveran. I was also very fortunate enough to catch it at a fantastic price of $39.95. If you're on a budget I'd go with Blitz Wax. It's my second favorite wax for use on a black car as it provides great durability and a nice, warm shine.

Carnauba Rules! :xyxthumbs

I too love Souveran for black cars. I bought it expressly for use on a black car and loved it. My current car is dark green and it looks just as great.

Easy to use, holds up a long time for a carnauba, works over glazes and polymer sealants equally well. It's an almost faultless product for its type.

I am sure you'll be happy with Blitz or P21S. I also like 3M's Show Car paste wax. The Blitz is a tremendous value when you consider the great results for the price you pay for it. But if you can find Souveran on sale I say "buy it".

I also like Meguiar's Gold Class but the majority is out that it is it is limited in it's amount of protection.

Brand new 2011 Bentley Continental GTC , has an 12W engine , around 550hp , color Artica white.

The car is garage and weekly wash. In this case I use onr in quick detailer dilution assist by a thick microfiber towel to wipe down the paint.

After quick detailer wipe I claybar the car by using an fine grade claybar and onr in quick detailer dilution. After each ? panel I inspect the clay and mold it to a clean surface.
