Recently complted job, this modified daily driver and track car has the "Go & stop" with the Supercharger and Brembo's. As a daily the car had quite a bit of built up dirt, marring and fallout on all the surfaces so a prolonged wash/decon was carried out.

Dirt examples before the wash commenced.

Clay step pics.

Evidence from the crime............................lol

Very few correction pics were taken as the color was difficult to get the defects, typical scratches from opening the trunk.

new020.jpg

Defects compounded out with Menz cutting compound.

new023.jpg

Besides the wheels off for deep cleaning, Alekshop next door did a stud conversion....................more tightness for this car which already has it all.

old057.jpg

Same wheel well & caliper after deep cleaning with solvent x and steam/various brushes.

old062.jpg

Rear drivers wheel well, the shrouds were in "Hurting condition".

old054.jpg

After cleaning before dressing was applied to the shrouds.

old055.jpg

Wheel had a layer of embedded silt/brake dust.

old061.jpg

The "Space Grey" color is forgiving.........the Black "B" Pillars are not.

old069.jpg

After first passes with compound anf MF/cutting disc, some slight haze which polishes out nice as the finished pics coming up will show.

old070.jpg

With so much fallout on the car I would go back during the correction step and clay some more so I would not remove anymore clear than needed.

old067.jpg

Stripping the trim rubber.

old072.jpg

I always like to do the engine bay before the ultra fine polishing step, then complete that task and ultimately apply whatever LSP is going on the finish.

old079.jpg

Starting on the removal of the cosmoline.

old083.jpg

More dirt.

After clean up pics, showing off the supercharger.

new035.jpg

Dialed in engine plastic & cowl area.

new037.jpg

Inside of hood free from grease and dirt build up.

new036.jpg

A few pics of the sweet "Fox Red" leather surfaces.

new043.jpg

"B" Pillars finished down under Infratech lighting.

Awesome job Bob! I especially like how well your wheel wells clean up, always on point in an often neglected area. That car has it all, along with the perfect color combo.

This is the first E9x I've seen with Volk TE37's, SL's at that, and they compliment the car very well. The stance looks suitably menacing, as it should for a supercharged V8 rocket like this. A thoroughly gorgeous M.

Delivered in the rain at night.... I HATE when that happens! :nono:

Awesome work as always, and I'm still jealous of your midrise lift :bawling:
