2009 Toyota Matrix Silver

Old Pirate

AMG Classic Car Detailing
Got to do this today and it was only 3 weeks that the owner has had it. Very minor swirls in a few places and needed a general clean up. Sorry no before pic's because my camera needed new batteries that i got when i was finish. My process was a 2 bucket wash then dry off with a leaf blower. Then did my claying process and then drop the bar on the ground:thud:. Then i had to use a new one on the car which has some rail dust on it, when i was almost finish i drop the other bar too! by then i was getting piss off from this. Finally got to finish claying and from there i use ZAIO & ZPC with my UDM with LC CCS white pads. It came out very nice and clean too. My next process was with Z2 and ZCS. After waiting awhile i did the interior with IZ cockpit and vac the interior. The windows were done with Stoners (front only) because of the new tint it had. After that i did a Z8 wipe down and dress the tires with RL. This was a easy one for me and the time was just 6 hrs to do. Thanks everyone for looking and your comments too..........Angelo

I'm trying to get better pic's but i need more work..

Nice job on that Martix, the silver has some good pop to it, and alot of flake in that paint...I am with you I can't take pics to save my life...yours seem fine though

Your picture taking is just fine. Car looks very nice. Even on a little car you still managed to work for six hours. My kind of detail. When you are done and it looks good you feel accomplished. As well you should!!

I do have questions on the application results for you though? Using Z2 and ZCS together did you notice any difference in the slickness going from Z2 to ZCS?

I am testing ZCS as a stand alone product at this very moment and am a little disappointed in the slickness of ZCS applied to the paint surface. Also am a little dismayed in the beading characteristics of ZCS.

I see that you last step was a Z8 wipedown. I can only assume that the slickness was rejuvenated with this application. Am I right?

What did you notice about the paint surface after each application when applying Z2, then ZCS, and finally Z8 as your final wipedown?
