2009 GMC Denali (BLACK) - Clay & Wax

ShadeTreeDetail

New member
This Denali was a simple hand wash, clay bar treatment and carnauba wax. The owner travels extensively and so the upkeep of the exterior has fallen to the wayside somewhat.

It's amazing what quality clay and a "favorite" carnauba wax can do ........ Thanks for looking! ;)

It took nearly 2 hours to clay & wax .......... so here's the finished product:

Very nice! Definitely looks like it could use some polishing though. Hopefully you can sell him on that at some point.

That they are. I went back and looked at my pics. Amazing how they all look alike!

Unsure as to how busy you are, but was wondering if you've had a need to hire any help and where you might have found someone reliable. I'm taking on 2 new accounts for washes & details and need to get a couple of people hired before the end of the month. Ideas?

I have a part-timer. Found hom working at a small dealership. Asked if wanted to work with me and it was a done deal. The only employee that I hired that I can actually stand to work with... usually works 2-3 days a week with me.
As far as help, I usually find them through friends. Just ask if they know anyone needing some temp part time work.

I'm usually booked up a week to a week and half out. I just got back from a week vacation, then a week of being sick/layed out in bed. Getting back into the swing of things.... I absolutely dread taking any time off.....

By the way, the finish actually needs little to no polishing at this point. Not sure what you see to say otherwise, but will admit that Photobucket doesn't lend anything to the quality of the pics. Picasa (through the sig link) shows a better quality. :)

I hear ya with the time off deal .........

I thought about looking at the same type of businesses to hire from. I have a couple of companies wanting to offer onsite detailing to their employees so I would need someone with some sort of knowledge of detailing/cleaning/washing.

We'll see what I can come up with.

Find someone to do the basics.
Clean bugs off front, Vac, door jams, clean interior panels, etc..... thats how I do it. And leave the "detailing" for me to focus on...
