2009 Corolla at SEMA

Toyota is not going to make any dramatic changes until people stop buying the Camry or the Corolla. Judging by recent sales thats not about to happen so brace yourself for more of the same. At least they're not just slapping a new body onto an old design like Ford is doing with the Focus and Escape, there is actually real change under those boring exteriors.

i take less issue with horrible looks than i do with horrible driving experience.
 
I guess I missed that at SEMA...we were too busy checking out the booth babes. :P



But seriously, I think the 09 Corolla looks nice. I can't stand the back up light holes on the rear end though.
 
after seeing the 09 corolla in person (drive by), i actually like it more than the previous year models. it's nice that on the S series this year that the body kit is one piece for the front, side, and rear. i didn't like the little pieces on the corners on the previous ones...
 
I bought my 09 Blue Silver Streak Metallic LE Corolla online(thru edumunds.com) in April 08. I do like the better gas mileage, I am 99% city averaging ~mid 28mpg, which is better than my 95 Accord V6 which as 19-20 city. But now I don't drive it much since I bicycle to work. The Power Steering is *funny*. I don't recall the technology in the P/S, though. Depending on the tires, it will have road noise. Great A/C!
